We have had a shaky event so far in the 2008 PWA Ulsan Cup.

The day before the event we were blessed with good winds and were all tuning up on our 7.8m sails but unfortunately, as soon as the event started, the wind dropped back to an annoyingly gusty 6-10 knots.

Juan, our race director has had a horrible time trying to run heats in the fluky winds and since I am in heat 1, I have had to do 8 starts so far without yet being able to count a result. 3 times we have sailed the course only for the wind to die on the final leg and force the race to be abandoned. I was 1st, 3rd and 1st again in those three heats, so fingers crossed that I will be somewhere around there when we do finally count the heat!

Nonetheless, we have 2 days left and I am sure that we will be doing our utmost to make the best out of the conditions. We are all praying for enough wind to at least complete one round!
